Meantime Podcast goes Live – Listen to Moving Stories here

Moving Stories – the Meantime Communications Podcast – will feature a mix of guest speakers and members of the Meantime Team to discuss all the topics from the world of Public Relations (PR) and logistics

Moving Stories is finally here!

It’s been in the works for months now, but with a little push from our work-experience student the Meantime podcast is finally out and ready to listen to.

If you haven’t already heard it, click here to listen to Moving Stories now.

In this first, pilot episode, Emma Murray, CEO of Meantime joins me and Alfie Pryke, teenager (14 years’ old, to be precise), to talk about the advantages of work experience, both for a small creative PR consultancy like Meantime, and Alfie too.

Emma and I share our, shall we say, unique university backgrounds, in subjects so obscure we have to explain them to Alfie, and Alfie talks about his experience of school and how work experience is a great way to try new things out – before deciding on a path and career.

We delve into what makes logistics a great industry to work in for the next generation of students, and talk about the challenges of getting a podcast off the ground for a public relations / communications company.

About the author

Emma Murray

Emma was born in the year the Beatles broke up. She studied Middle Eastern Archaeology and Akkadian, although she has to admit her cuneiform is probably a little rusty these days. She was once an archaeologist working in Syria and Jordan, and has been an English language teacher. She has lived at one time or another in Jerusalem and Aleppo, as well as Paris and Brussels, where she went to school and learnt to speak French.
