WCA member, America Logistics Group (ALG), now has locations in eight different countries across Latin America and the USA

Guatemala City, Guatemala, Monday 15th July 2019 – America Logistics Group (ALG) is celebrating 30 years of providing integrated logistics solutions and ongoing growth across the Americas.

ALG is headquarted in Guatemala City, Guatemala, and has locations in eight different countries with more than 400 logistics experts in the region.

“We are incredibly proud of our achievements in the past 30 years, but we couldn’t have done it without the dedication of our staff and the support of our customers,” said Milton Barascout, Chief Executive Officer, ALG.

“We are planning for future growth and we are expanding in line with global logistics trends and customer expectations.

“ALG will always seek to provide the most optimal services and be the best logistics outsourcing operator for your company – we aim to be more than just a logistics partner.”

Barascout and his team celebrated the 30th anniversary at the Guatemala City office by thanking all staff and clients, throwing a party with champagne, and handing out gifts.

ALG became a WCA member in 2009 and has benefited from the organisation’s global network as it has expanded.

“We joined WCA because it is an established organisation of great prestige with a wide network of agents, which strengthens our brand,” said Barascout.

ALG started as a traditional freight forwarder in 1989, but has since evolved to offer innovative solutions to challenges within the global logistics industry.

Our Vision

The objective of SESAR is to modernise European ATM by defining, developing and delivering new or improved technologies and procedures (SESAR Solutions).

SESAR’s vision builds on the notion of trajectory-based operations’ and relies on the provision of air navigation services (ANS) in support of the execution of the business or mission trajectory — meaning that aircraft can fly their preferred trajectories without being constrained by airspace configurations.

SESAR Deployment Manager

The SESAR Deployment Manager (SDM) function is defined by the Article 9 of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) N°409/2013. Under the oversight of the European Commission, the SDM function consists of the synchronisation and the coordination of the deployment of the Common Projects. A Common Project is a Commission Implementing Regulation which mandates the implementation of the most essential operational changes in the European ATM Master Plan by the Member States of the European Union and their operational stakeholders. The first Common Project is known as the Pilot Common Project (PCP) and is defined by the Regulation (EU) N°716/2014. The SDM synchronises and coordinates implementation against the SESAR Deployment Programme which is a project view of the Common Projects organizing their implementation into optimum sequences of activities by all the stakeholders required to implement. To develop and maintain the SESAR Deployment Programme in close consultation with all the stakeholders is another important task under the SDM function.
