ANNA BALAN WINS WOMEN IN AIR CARGO AWARD FOR AWERY CARGOBOOKING PLATFORM
Balan was named winner in the IT category at the awards ceremony, celebrating the contributions of women across all areas of the air cargo supply chain
Copenhagen, Denmark, Thursday 16th October 2025: Head of CargoBooking, Anna Balan, received the Women in Air Cargo Award for IT during Aviation Connect in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Wednesday 15th October.
The awards were launched this year by Eva International Media to recognise the work of women within their organisations and the wider industry.
Balan was commended for her leadership within CargoBooking, her dedication to developing the platform’s capabilities, and her role in driving digital transformation across the air cargo sector.
“It is an incredible honour to be recognised alongside so many women whose contributions have shaped this industry and its future,” said Balan.
“I am exceptionally proud of what the CargoBooking platform is able to do for our users, and how our team continues to develop tools that drive industry-wide digital adoption.”
