LOGISTAAS EVOLVES ITS TMS WITH NEW AI SUITE FOR FREIGHT FORWARDERS
Averroes AI reflects Logistaas’ continued investment in developing its transport management system to meet the changing operational needs of freight forwarders
London, UK, Monday 13th July 2026: Logistaas has expanded its transport management system (TMS) with the launch of Averroes AI, a new suite of artificial intelligence capabilities developed to help freight forwarders automate routine tasks, strengthen compliance, identify operational risks earlier, and make faster, better informed decisions.
Rather than offering AI as a separate application, Logistaas has embedded Averroes AI directly within its TMS, allowing users to access intelligent support as part of their existing workflows.
“Freight forwarding is evolving quickly, and the technology supporting it has to evolve just as fast,” said Kareem Naouri, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Logistaas.
“We developed Averroes AI because we believe artificial intelligence should strengthen the transport management system that freight forwarders already depend on every day.
“By embedding AI directly into operational workflows, users can make faster decisions, reduce manual effort, and improve consistency without changing the way they work.”
Averroes AI introduces five capabilities across freight forwarding operations, including: automated extraction of data from bills of lading, air waybills, and supplier invoices; shipment risk assessment that identifies potential issues before they escalate; compliance checks against a freight forwarder’s own operating procedures; and an AI assistant that helps users navigate Logistaas features and workflows.
“Our focus has always been on building technology around the real operational needs of freight forwarders,” said Naouri.
“Averroes AI is another step in that journey and demonstrates our commitment to continually developing the Logistaas platform as the industry changes.
Today, Logistaas supports freight forwarders in more than 80 countries, with Averroes AI available across the platform.
