MEANTIME COMMUNICATIONS ADDS AIR CARGO EXPERTISE TO PR TEAM WITH JUSTIN BURNS

Experienced editor joins Meantime as the B2B consultancy continues to expand its global client base

London, UK, Monday 28th October 2019 – Global PR and communications consultancy Meantime Communications has signed up experienced journalist and editor Justin Burns.

Justin has worked for over six years in B2B trade publishing mainly covering aviation and air freight, including roles as Reporter at Airport Council International’s Airport World magazine, Editor of Air Cargo Week, and Associate Editor with the publisher of Cargo Airports & Airline Services (CAAS) magazine.

Royal Greenwich-based Meantime works with clients in the logistics, transport, and tech industries across the globe, including Antonov Airlines, Budapest Airport, and Kerry Logistics, amongst others.

“I have always thought of Meantime highly from afar and I am delighted to make this first step into PR and communications with an ambitious and growing consultancy, where I can develop my skills and get full PR training,” said Burns.

“I am also pleased to be working with a company, which shares my values on sustainability.”

Burns joins Meantime as the consultancy continues to grow its global footprint and invest in training and tech developments.

The Meantime Academy, backed by the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) is now in its second year, giving staff training in PR, healthy working, as well as the logistics industry.

As part of an ongoing investment in NextGen projects, this summer, Meantime welcomed students from the Taylor Bennett Foundation, which encourages BAME PR candidates and in December will be hosting a group of young people as part of the Career Ready – Capital Experience programme.

This autumn saw Meantime launch a new website, giving customers their own news portals.

“Meantime is committed to delivering innovative and personal solutions to a wide range of customers worldwide,” said Emma Murray, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder, Meantime Communications.

“We are pleased to have an experienced and talented professional join the team at such an exciting time for us and we are looking forward to more developments in the coming months.”
