OMAN AIR LAUNCHES FIVE NEW ROUTES IN A SINGLE WEEK, STRENGTHENING CARGO NETWORK ACROSS ASIA

Rapid network expansion increases Oman Air Cargo’s access to key Asian trade markets, including Singapore and Tashkent

Muscat, Oman, Tuesday 4th August, 2026: Oman Air has launched five new routes within a single week, significantly expanding the network available to Oman Air Cargo customers and strengthening the airline’s position across key Asian markets.

The expansion, using B737 Max8 aircraft, includes new services from Muscat to Singapore (SIN) and Tashkent (TAS), alongside routes to Sochi (AER), Abu Dhabi (AUH), and a new Salalah (SLL) – Dubai connection.

“The five new destinations strengthen the options available to our cargo customers, providing greater connectivity across Asia while supporting the efficient movement of time-sensitive and high-value shipments,” said Michael Duggan, Head of Cargo, Oman Air.

“We are particularly pleased the additions further expand Oman Air Cargo’s perishables capability, a key objective of the airline in response to our expanding customer base.”

The new Muscat-Tashkent service will operate twice weekly, creating additional capacity between Oman and one of Central Asia’s fastest-growing logistics markets.

The route is expected to support increased trade in perishables and other time-critical commodities between the two countries.

The new Muscat-Singapore service also expands Oman Air Cargo’s reach into one of Asia’s largest air cargo hubs, providing customers with improved access to Southeast Asian markets and onward global connections.

The service will operate four times each week.

“As trade between Oman and Asia continues to grow, expanding our network enables us to offer customers greater flexibility, improved market access, and more efficient routing options,” said Duggan.

Flight schedules are SIN 4x weekly flights; AER 1x weekly flight; TAS 2x weekly flights; DXB to SLL 3x weekly flights; and AUH daily flights.
