Seahorse organises an annual Awards competition to celebrate excellence in reporting, which is open to all journalists globally who write about the industry.
Entries are judged by a panel of professionals drawn from across the globe and including experts from the industry, as well as journalists, and PR professionals.
The Awards are handed out at the annual Seahorse Christmas party, traditionally held in London, UK.

Founded in 1962 as the Seahorse Club, the Association’s initial objective was to promote sea travel. In 2002, Seahorse welcomed journalist members from the Society of All Cargo Correspondents (SACC) after SACC wound down and the Awards in their current format were launched.
