Registration is free for the UK’s largest logistics event that brings together businesses, thought leaders, and associations from all sectors in the industry

London, UK, Wednesday 27th February 2019 –Multimodal 2019, the leading UK show  that brings all the sectors in the logistics and transport industry under one roof, is now open for registration, as exhibitors continue to sign up.

Maritime Transport, Ocean Network Express (ONE), Associated British Ports, and the Swain Group are only a few of the exhibitors who will be hosting stands at the event which takes places at the NEC Birmingham from 18-20 June 2019, and is free-to-attend for visitors.

“Multimodal 2019 provides the UK’s biggest platform for all sectors of the supply chain to connect and grow their businesses, and we are delighted to announce that registration is now open,” said Rob Jervis, Logistics Portfolio Director, Clarion Events.

“Our exhibitor line-up is expected to reach 300, and will allow visitors to network with industry leaders, get to know new and established businesses and gain unparalleled insights into the logistics and transport industry.”

Multimodal 2019’s education programme will feature seminars and workshops on new technology as innovation and disruptor, Brexit opportunities and the labour crisis, and the show’s third day will focus on recruiting, retaining and engaging new talent in the industry.

The FTA Multimodal Awards and gala dinner are a regular feature of the event, and this year they are hosted by snooker legend, Steve Davis, OBE.

About Multimodal

Multimodal 2021 will celebrate fourteen years of putting shippers, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and exporters in front of exhibitors who offer the latest logistics and supply chain solutions.

The three-day show offers a unique opportunity to make valuable face-to-face contact with new prospects and existing companies.

Shippers and cargo owners attend to improve their businesses; by finding ways of moving their products more efficiently and by meeting new suppliers.

Multimodal represents every logistics sector under one roof, and is characterised by key vertical sectors, including manufacturing, retail, agribusiness, chemical, automotive, electronics, FMCG, food & drink, fashion, pharmaceuticals, construction, aerospace, energy, real estate, recycling, paper/print and perishables, amongst others, whilst horizontally, the show covers all modes of transportation, including sea, road, rail, air and inland waterways.

This matrix design makes Multimodal incredibly valuable and accessible for shippers – whilst also affording them the opportunity to successfully meet and network with peers from other sectors, which is another key reason for their attendance.

Multimodal delivers a bespoke series of seminars targeted at helping supply chains run more efficiently, as well as offering two networking events, the Multimodal Awards, and the Multimodal Mixer.

This attendance next year will be bolstered by brand new initiatives, including

  • Match-making service to connect shippers – our VIP visitors – to each other and to exhibitors.
  • Dedicated Freight Forwarders’ Village with logpods.
